Laid out and installed Ethernet, cable, and communication systems, HVAC system, electrical, plumbing, and water systems.
Designed and implemented electrical systems & control programs. Designed and implemented device modifications for integration of technology into robots as well as automating household appliances.
Assisted in designing and programming libraries for the Kestrel Project, a massively parallel processing add-in card for use in genetic research. Also taught parallel programming methods and wrote the programming manual for the specialized Kestrel hardware. Researched using Kestrel to aid in layout algorithms such as simulated annealing and Darwin/ Genetic Search. http://kestrel.soe.ucsc.edu/
Assisted in the digitization of the San Francisco Bay for computer modeling.
